Jack Scholz’s law practice focuses on medical malpractice defense and employment litigation.
Prior to joining Hart Wagner he worked for a Portland law firm practicing in the area of intellectual property litigation. Before joining a private practice, Jack clerked for the Honorable Ann Aiken, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. He continues to serve the District of Oregon as a member of the Civil Local Rules Committee. Jack serves on National Board of Directors for the Federal Bar Association Younger Lawyers Division, as well as the local Board of Directors for the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He is also an elected member of the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates. Jack received his B.A. from Chapman University and J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
When Jack has free time he enjoys running, hiking, and visiting our nation’s historic lighthouses.
